ABOUT ME

To tell all about me would take too long. So I will only say the essential.

Laughing and being happy are the foundations of my day to day life, but what keeps me going in life in general are my dreams. I wish to travel around the world and discover new cultures.

I like outdoor activities and sports. Physical work does not scare me at all. I also enjoy to sit in a chair and read a good book or drink a glass of wine with friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have no couch/bed to host a traveler at the moment, for I will be traveling myself, but as soon as I can, I will be delighted to welcome travelers at my place!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far. I have heard my friend’s experiences though and can’t wait to meet welcoming hosts myself.

Interests

I do like outdoor activities. When I was younger I have played a lot of sports and I have always been encouraged by my parents to play outdoors. Two of my favorite sports at the moment are rock climbing and alpine skiing.
Outside of sports, I like to read a lot and to travel/talk about travels. I do enjoy cooking too, even if I have no specialties! (Maybe a slight preference for desserts…) I also paint occasionally.

Well, I enjoy watching good films in the evening too… It feel good to sit down and relax sometimes!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

This list could go on forever and ever!

I have read so many good books over the last two decades!! Well, sure I have some favorites like The Lord of the Ring trilogy along with The Hobbit and the Harry Potter series. I also liked Le Comte de Monte-Cristo and Les Trois Mousquetaires from Dumas, many Agatha Christie’s books and so on.

I must say, I do like to listen to music too. It has to fit with how I feel or what I do while I listen to music. That’s why I find it more difficult to name a favorite song or artist.

As for movies, well my interests are very broad as long as it is something intelligent.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I wish I could say “I climbed a high summit” or that I went all around the world! But my achievements so far are less impressive!! My bucket list is ready for some “Check” though!

One of my most important achievement so far is that I finished Physiotherapy studies last spring. It took all of my time for 4 years but it was definitely worth it!
