Overview
About Me
I am traveling a whole lot of the world for 8 months while I take a break from teaching for a year and see what is beyond the bubble of New Zealand :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My cousin told me it was the way to travel and I'm keen to give it a go, meet some fun people and save a few dollars along the way
Interests
I live in a beautiful little valley in New Zealand where I love drinking tea and watching things grow in the garden. I recently started bee keeping and love being in nature spaces. I'm also into quilting (it may sound like I'm an 80 year old woman but I promise this is not true!) And enjoy upcycling all sorts of bits and pieces

Music, Movies, and Books
Indie/folk music (all time favourite is Iron and Wine) - love all the books! Especially Victorian Literature and I could literally talk about books for days (hence studying English Lit) most favourite authors are Thomas Hardy, Barbara Kingsolver and Richard Adams.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Studied creative writing and wrote a short collection of Women's hitchhiking stories in a New Zealand context (pretty niche and specific but it was really lovely project)
Teach, Learn, Share
