About Me
Hello! مرحبا!! Hola! こんにちは!안녕하세요!
I am from the USA. I've traveled in Tunisia, Iceland, South Korea, Japan, Spain, Peru, Chile, Ecuador, and Canada. I lived in South Korea for almost two years. I speak a medium amount of Spanish and Arabic, and just a little bit of Korean and Japanese.
I use Couchsurfing because one of the greatest parts of traveling for me is getting to exchange experiences of what it's like to really live somewhere. I have had a great time hosting people in the past, and of course it's awesome to be hosted. I always try to find ways to give back to my hosts in ways I think they'll appreciate the most.
I will be traveling with my partner in Japan from January 10th until February or March, so if I am currently messaging you, that's probably why!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The general helpfulness and noncapitalist workings of Couchsurfing are proof that human nature is actually pretty forgiving and not quite the Hobessian nightmare some people make it out to be.
I have a soft spot for eternal travelers, those whose spiritual home seems constantly moving, or maybe nowhere at all. I might be that kind of person myself!
Interests
I want to know what you're interested in! My main interests are:
1. science fiction and horror media (I made a kaiju costume for Halloween this year!)
2. music (I make house music!)

I mostly read only politics and sci-fi.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Built sawdust latrines in the amazon in Peru with Caroline Johnson. find them on cs too, they're awesome and even more adventurous and skilled than me!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share travel tips for places I've been to, share my advice, recommend music and books. I know a little about a whole lot.
