ABOUT ME

People say that I'm sweet, caring, lovely, a work-aholic, optimistic, brave, smart, at times overly sensitive and demanding, but my friends keep me in check.

Interests

I spend a lot of my time in the theater and performing arts. I always feel best when I wake-up in the morning and do a little yoga. I think that I'm a healer and creator at heart. I love to ask questions about how things work, and all things related to the mechanics of the body, voice and mind really keep my attention. I also love building puppets. When I get a puppetry project going it's hard to pull away from it before it's finished.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two moments that left me awestruck:
When traveling in Switzerland, I met a German woman who was attending a Chi-gong conference in Basil. Since I was curious about her work, she offered to give me a sample of it. She is a healer and used her voice in this completely exhilarating and shaman-like way to help heal and free the energy of my body. It was only a taste of this totally unique practice. It sounded too wacky to believe at first, but the experience was incredible! She was a magical person and I'll never forget the truly awesome sounds with which she surrounded me.
My first trip to Paris, I was completely awestruck by the beauty of the Eiffel Tower. From photographs I had always thought the structure uninteresting. So when I saw its glory for the first time I was completely bowled over, and every time I go back, I relive that magic of the first time. Perhaps it's cliched, but I just can't help it. The Eiffel Tower is a sight to behold!
