我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

People. Meeting new people, and playing tour guide is fun! I also like to go out and party. Since stumbling upon the CS phenomenon I've met hundreds of interesting people from around the world, and hope to meet many more.

兴趣

Travel, reading, camping, and as of late exercise, and dieting. I enjoy tinkering with computers, both the software and hardware, and building the occasional laser. As of late I've started collecting searchlights. My hobbies tend to come and go, but I rarely cut ties with one altogether. Next on my to do list is learning spanish... not sure if that qualifies as an interest, but it's interesting to me.

音乐、电影和书籍

I tend to gravitate toward sci fi, comedy, fantasy, and action movies, with a bit of drama sprinkled on top. Not really a fan of horror movies since I can't help but to think "well that's a dumbass move, you're gonna die now". Safe to say that I've probably see, and mostly enjoyed everything that starts with Star (Wars, Gate, Trek).

Played with tigers, been hugged by elephants, jumped over a fire rope, climbed a small mountain, and snorkeled under cliffs. This summer I plan to learn sky diving.

-If you can manage it, stick to carry on only. Nothing ruins a vacation faster then the airline losing your baggage.

-You can never pack enough socks and underwear.

-Get a wifi range extender... anytime you have a hotel with wifi in lobby you'll be comfortable in your own room.

Helps to explain your day to day routine if you work a full time job, and your availability to potential couchsurfers so there are no false expectations. While I'm willing to host, taking time off work is much harder, and I try to save that up for my own travel adventures.
