Hi!I'm Genwa; you're probably pronouncing it wrong, but that's alright! :) I was born in Syria, spent my childhood in Russia, and now I'm a resident in Portugal. Between finishing my studies and trying to figure out how adulthood works, I volunteer, play the violin, and learn new languages. But above all, I can't wait to see the world!

I love to travel but I'm too broke for hotels ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
In any case I would still think that it makes much more sense staying with someone who knows the city, with whom you can have a nice chat, learn from each other, etc. I find couchsurfing an excellent opportunity to meet new people and expand your horizons, and this is why I'm here! :)
