About Me
Hey, I’m Geo!
I found Couchsurfing after meeting a traveler from the Netherlands who inspired my love for travel and helped me improve my English at that time (2013). When I was in high school
In Couchsurfing, the people is more important than the destination because whether my travel will be good experience or not depends on who I can meet. Oh hey I am a cool & open minded here!
Tbh, I don’t use Couchsurfing all the time, I usually stay in budget hostels, especially in big cities where I know I’ll meet plenty of like-minded travelers too. But when in smaller towns or suburbs, I’d much rather stay with a local Couchsurfer because they always know better things there. I also make it a point to hang out with Couchsurfing travelers whenever I can, also with locals when Im in their cities. I love meeting new people and connecting with fellow adventurers.
Philosophy:
You do what you do
What you do matters
What you do, everything will come back to you
My travel principle:
Just wanna go there and give value
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travel and cultures exchange is the reason why I'm here. And ofc the people!!!. It's interesting! To respect and understanding more about life in this world from them amazing people. We may have different colors, but we are same as human being. Life should be colorful!
Interests
Besides traveling: I am so into cultures, arts and languages.
My hobby is dancing, every time I visit another country, I have spare time to join a dance class in the city to experience the dance experience with the locals.

Books: anything about life history and self-improvement. I read Sapiens, Gotham. Those are cool books!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travel alone / solo trip to Malaysia and Thailand when I was 19 with no debit/visa card, yep brought enough cash n met n made friends there!
On a train in Osaka 🇯🇵, a boy noticed me watching my dance video after a class and praised my skills and taste in hip-hop. Turns out, we got off at the same station, so we chatted, shared music, and even danced in the street. It was a fun moment—and now, he’s my best friend.
I rode a bike a day traveling around Vietnam 🇻🇳 , and I mean the chaos traffic made it more challenging for me lol.
I rode a bike for traveling around Java Island for 3 weeks! I have visited all the cities of Java, Indonesia 🇮🇩
Ok, this was a bad one story (but not kinda cuz there is amazing thing happened here), I was sick as I almost passed out by summer 42 Celsius while I was in Phnom Penh, Cambodia 🇰🇭 . I got scammed by a taxi driver and he also almost robbed me while i asked him to drive me to local hospital. The amazing thing was, he came back to me the next day and apologized n also taking me to airport just because I was reminded him of his brother who has passed away. Life is full of surprises, right?? But anyway, take care anywhere you are!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach or show you about Indonesian cultures and languages. Languages, is the best subject for me! Teach me your language! Currently Im learning Mandarin too, not bad.
What I Can Share with Hosts
When I host I remind myself how a guest feels and what s/he needs. Right when the guests walks in the door, I ask em if they needs something. I got it that Internet and drink is essential for traveller.
