About Me
CURRENT MISSION
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
ABOUT ME
Me? My name means "ocean" and that's pretty much what fascinates me most. I'm an active person always eager to find new ways to explore. I was travelling for 2 years, lived and studied in Germany and Australia. Now I live in Oslo, Norway. I tend to go traveling as often as possible, as I love nature, people, different cultures and think that it will be extremely important to be well travelled to better understand and to be able to adapt to the inevitable changes the world is subject to. When not traveling my studies keep me busy. But as a geologist studying is often traveling.
PHILOSOPHY
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. EXPLORE. DREAM. DISCOVER. - Mark Twain
You only live once, but if you work it right, once is enough.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
CS is a great project - the idea is simple and convincing. I have met many great people through CS and HC. I have noticed a change in the community over the years, which is not entirely positive, but I try to spread the word whenever the opportunity arises and truly believe in the original idea of CS - bringing people together!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Met great people, made friends - overall, fantastic experience!
CochSurfing is travelling inside your own 4 walls... and feeling WANDERLUST again! It's addictive...
Bonn is not a place many couchsurfers come to - but still a really nice town! - Make sure you contact me in case you're coming here

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Diving in some beautiful places around the globe, I love the silence under water. Around Opolu Cay (Great Barrier Reef) was very pretty.
Stromboli. It really blew my socks off...!!!
Spending a night on Piton de la Fournaise volcano and having to be rescued by helicopter... things you don't manage to do every day.
Teach, Learn, Share
As I am studying Geosciences, I'm sure there will be something to share about the place we live.
I can also teach German, English and Turkish...
Also, I love to cook with others and experiment!
