ABOUT ME

I'm an easy going & open mind guy from South Italy, and as traveller and geologist, I like to discover the world, its nature and its soul!
From the oceans of Australia to the glaciers of Iceland, through cities like London and Berlin, I always try to enrich myself knowing different people, cultures and landscapes through different adventures and experiences.
That's why I think that the CouchSurfing can only help me to perform my mission: discover the world and feel myself as part of it!

I'm curious about everything (jumping in the sky, watching the stars, lying down on the grass, running in the wind, walking in the rain, sun-kissed... :) ), so if you are interested in art, literature, cultural exchanges, (especially) nature, books, music, trekking, parties... you can contact me!

It depends from my moods :)
I like Sergio Leone, Quentin Tarantino, Pedro Almodovar, Sean Penn, Francis Ford Coppola, Paolo Sorrentino... the list is so long!
I listen (almost) every kind of music: from the AC/DC to Caparezza, from Rino Gaetano to the System Of A Down, Subsonica, Buena Vista Social Club and many others...
Books! I like reading, even when I should work :)

I am Matera from mottasquiem on Vimeo. I am Matera (director Roberto Di Marzio, recorded in Matera in Dec. 2013) is an independent video created by mottasquiem to support Matera as candidate city to European Capital of Culture 2019. The video allows the viewer to get into the daily life of the town and enjoy the features of the places and the people of Matera. The three blue lines following the protagonist of the video represent the elements that made unique the town of Matera: the territory, the people who lived in the town and their capability to adapt, the time that in Matera is measured in thousand years.
