About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Temporarily no mission...

ABOUT ME

I get bored easy. I'm always looking for something new to keep my brain occupied. I love doing 20 things at once and pretending that I actually know what's going on. I've been involved in several clubs at the university and I've spent a year abroad in Graz, Austria. (My German is pretty bad, I warn you now.) I'm a diehard Roughnecks fan (Calgary's Lacrosse team). Right now, my husband and I are expecting a baby and waiting until our house is built, so I am definitely busy right now. I love baking, so there is always something new being made in the house. Summer weekends are spent at small town rodeos or camping. I'd love to have someone join me.

PHILOSOPHY

The world is not ready for me, just keep hitting the snooze button of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to use this option more and to have people come and use my couch... unfortunately, I don't really have a house right now (living in my parents basement), so I will keep everyone updated as time progresses.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a huge fan of American Pie movies and I'm obsessed with Pirate and Vampire movies. Music, well, I'm a country girl, but my husband is a grind core guy (if you know what that is)... Books, well, odd philosophy books (1984, Brave New World, Atlas Shrugged), smart thrillers (Dan Brown) or horror.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved to a country that I didn't know a word of their language for a year. I did pick up on the basics. Also, I had a chance to see so much more of the world.
