Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I began hosting people after I had such a life affirming and joyous experience being hosted myself! I felt so lucky that I thought it only right that I myself try and return the favour to other travellers. A good couchsurfing experience is so much better than booking into a hotel, especially when travelling solo. You truly can't put a price on it.

I very much enjoyed hosting people from all over the world whilst I still lived in Florence. I've made friends, travelled to places I never would have otherwise, learned a lot, and even got some free tattoos all because of becoming a host.

Sadly since the pandemic and moving back to London, my situation hasn't allowed me to keep up with it, but someday I very much hope to open my doors once more...
