Overview
About Me
I recently moved to Chicago from Boston. I live in the Lincoln Park - DePaul University area. I moved to attend graduate school full time in chemistry. I have hosted several Couchsurfers when I lived in Boston, and I really enjoyed meeting each one.
I am an easy-going person, who enjoys good conversation about any topic. I am a science / sci-fi nerd. I love keeping up with the latest developments in science and technology and love sci-fi movies and books.
I’m about sports - both playing and watching. I compete in league play for multiple sports on the weekends. I also stay active as an avid urban cyclist. I like to bike in city for my daily commute or for errands. I am a novice aiming to get more into the outdoors in particularly hiking, camping, and kayaking.
My television watching is pretty much limited to indie movies. Mostly I love meeting friends out with for dinner and casual drink - craft beer or glass of wine, and good conversation. I support local shops and farms, recycling, and goodwill.
My future goals are to read more, learn a couple languages, travel home and abroad, experience more outdoor activities/sports and volunteer more.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am looking to travel more, and want the experiences to entail meeting interesting people.
