I am a recent graduate from my doctorate at the University of Cambridge in the History and Philosophy of Science. I love travelling and visiting new places and meeting new people. I am fairly outgoing and love finding out new and interesting facts about people and places.

I am a big bibliophile. I study - and therefore an really interested in - photography and its history. I listen to a pretty broad spectrum of music, but don't play anything myself.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Having travelled through Cuba - and Havana in particular - the natural beauty of the people, countryside and food gave me a great impression of the rich culture of the country. Witnessing a city like Havana, however, like freezing a moment in time but without freezing the speed of natural degradation of buildings and infrastructure is very striking.
Simimarly, travelling through the basin of the Transylvanian Alps in Romania gave me a glimpse into the ways in which the modern western technological culture has been integrated into essentially rural communities.
