Cycling for Climate Change: This summer, I will be biking from Minneapolis to Washington DC to raise awareness about climate change.

ABOUT ME

I am a passionate person. I love people, learning, love, peace, and the environment!
I'm always interested in learning about people, culture, how things work, and well almost anything!
I'm currently studying physics and mathematics at St. Olaf College, a place that I LOVE, however, I plan on going to the Peace Corps after I graduate, and then maybe doing nothing to do with physics or math after that... I want to work with and help people and the environment. My current drive is to combat climate change. That's why this summer I am biking from Minneapolis, MN to Washington DC to work with environmental organizations and talk with people and my representatives about climate change.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am biking from Minneapolis to Washington DC this summer on my own and looking for people to help me on my journey. I love learning from people, making friends, and hearing all about their history, culture, and stories. I look forward to seeing how people see themselves in the grand ecological system of the planet. I hopefully will at some point be able to host some couch surfers and learn about them as well!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't really had any couch surfing experiences yet. I did a home stay with a French family in high school for about a week, and loved it. I became a part of their family, and when I returned to France last January I visited and hung out with my French family a bunch. We reconnected like I had never even left (except I could speak better French this time)!
