**Fully vaccinated** I just left teaching after 10 years in the field to pursue entrepreneurial aspirations. Excited to explore what opportunities lay ahead and grow some (very small) businesses I've been working on the past couple of years.

I'm fortunate to have traveled as much as I have and am always looking for the next adventure. Haven't ventured out as much as I'd like over the past few years (even before COVID), but I'm hoping to change that. I love culture, out of the ordinary experiences and having to "make it happen". My ideal vacation is hopping on the first plane out, landing and figuring it out.

Friends say I'm easy-going, easy to talk to and endlessly interesting. About that last bit, I just get bored easily and am open to experiencing as much as I can (within reason). Always try my best to keep a positive attitude and am super supportive of those around me. Looking for someone to get excited about and support your new project? I'm your guy.

I'm very respectful of others, their space and their peace of mind. I'm much more interested in learning what makes a person than small-talk and put effort into being objective. Very transparent, honest and open to learn. In this spirit, I have ADHD and am recently really digging deeper into it.

Also important to note, I've been on Couchsurfing for a while but haven't actually done it yet. Hoping to change that soon!

To check out the finest couches people have to offer - I'm a big couch enthusiast...No, but really, to explore places with the cool people who live there and on a smaller budget (tbh). When I travel, I want to get to know the people, the place and the culture. I'm not super interested in resorts (well, maybe sometimes - who doesn't like fancy once in a while?) and I want to learn the real, every day of being in a place. I seek authenticity, and Couchsurfing seems to be the best way to do it.

With my interests in mind, I am not in the business of making anyone uncomfortable and do not enjoy "forcing" my interests or beliefs on others. I'm very adaptable, mindful of those around me and fairly self-aware.

I celebrated a 367 day calendar year while circumnavigating the globe with Semester At Sea. It was a leap year and because we traveled from west to east, we had two November 22nds. A bit nerdy, but I love this!
