I'm alive! Yay! With a growing attitude of gratitude and yearning for discovery. I realize that I never know what is coming around the corner from moment to moment so I enjoy being present and taking things one step at a time.

ABOUT ME

I am a kind and thoughtful man, with deep core values of: Integrity, Respect, Honesty, Love, Peace. I'm exploring life's teachings, with a serious interest in contemplative traditions and embodied spirituality. I enjoy connecting with friends, whether it's a conversation over tea, dancing, or my favourite; a nature walk/hike/adventure.
I don't "party" with alcohol or drugs, I prefer the clarity of sober presence (I will have a beer or a glass of wine.. on rare occasions). I have a healthy sense of adventure and like going out in the wilderness often. I spend alot of time alone exploring and sitting in the woods or canoeing on lakes and rivers. It supports me in connecting with and uncovering my natural self.. which is what my deepest intention is.

I'm looking to couchsurf as a way to travel to amazing places while enriching the experience by meeting local, interesting and openhearted people who I can learn from and enjoy sharing some meaningful experiences with. I look forward to the adventure of it all.

Attended a 7 day silent meditation retreat.

Lived in the Kootenay mountains of British Columbia for several years.. tree planting, adventuring and powder skiing.

I could teach some photography skills. I'm a an enthusiastic amateur (having sold some photography) with quite a bit of experience and some photography school under my belt.
