About Me
Hi :).
1. FRIENDLY
I'm an almost always smiling guy, curious of many many things : i study and analyse spontaneously ideas, sometimes a bit too much (sorry but i can't resist), with a secret skill to do so at wrong times. STILL i'm nice with people : i can't feel good if others around me don't feel good. I think i'm rather organized and rational in my mind ; but friends and family will definitely tell you i'm a bit messy and spontaneous. Basically i plan things well, but i forget to do them all the time :').
2. LIKES THINGS
I enjoy quiet / serious / relaxing / intellectual moments, and also crazy animated loud parties : i guess the key point here is to follow my inner feelings. So i love :
- sitting in a café reading a book,
- watching rain in a train,
- psychedelic small festivals,
- binge watching a tv show eating pizza,
- not resisting a third round of board games we already played a full afternoon,
- riding bike across cities and forests,
- debating of the separation of nature and culture between 2 beers,
- watching storms coming (and get trapped in the middle of crop fields),
- forgetting how long i've been dancing on this minimal techno music,
- listening to urban sounds,
- cooking cakes for friends,
- bread and butter (salted butter, obviously).
3. PASSIONATE (about weather wtf?)
I have a very specific passion for history of popular meteorology. If you're into this too, PLEASE talk to me (it seems hopeless i know, but i actually read papers about mysterious other researchers studying exactly this, they're alive :o). Beside this, talks about history of sciences, science communication, meteorology and weather should be triggered at your own risk, be ready to interompt me when i go too far.
4. DOES THINGS
I've recently produced a radio show about science & society, so i'm also slightly in the closed world of radio people fascinated by mixing consoles and how crazy voices sound differently into a speaker.
I spent more than 6 years of aids prevention, sexual risk reduction and health in different NGOs. I'm not an active volunteer anymore, but i'm still very interested in LGBTQ+ and sexual health debates. (I'm gay, but doesn't mean i'm here for dating.)

Oh and as you might have noticed, i'm kind of an "old couchsurfer" now. Everything is not up to date on my profile. I'm working on it, sorry ! At least this About Me text has been writen on February 2019.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I moved in Paris with a close friend. It appeard we had an extra couch, we liked traveling and we liked meeting people : so came the idea "let's go on CouchSurfing !" . This was an extra positive experiment.
After a terribe come back to my parents' home, i've finally moved to Paris. I'm sharing a flat with 2 roomates : we still don't host couchsurfers, but a discussion is ongoing to decide if we do ; be patient :).
Meanwhile, now that i FINALLY earn money (yeaaaay), i want to enjoy discovering other bits of humanity around the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sitting in the middle of country fields, a huge strong storm coming slowly straight to my position. You could hear the clear sound of a lonely grasshoper, in a moist, warm, heavy atmosphere, with completely no wind. Time almost stopped, and i sat here for an indefinable duration, watching a long dark shelf cloud slowly and strongly invading the sky, with silent lightnings at the horizon.
For 7 year, spending 1 month building and taking apart a big festival as a volunteer ; you can have a look of what it could be on this video :) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojMoeR45WYM&feature=g-upl
