About Me
[English below]
The pandemic is near its end, travelling is coming back to our lives, and there is room in my apartment in the Rosemont area in Montréal for a great part of the summer. I can’t guarantee anything, but contact me if you pass by this big city, I might be able to welcome you at my place! You might enjoy a private room and share your living space with between 1 to 3 very likeable roommates, most of them musicians and students.

Ancienne description personnelle de voyageur/Previous traveller description:
My name is Geoffroy, i’m a French Canadian student travelling a bit everywhere in America as of October 2019. I do it for pretty much for the same reason I do everything: for fun, crazy adventures, meeting other fellow human beings, learning new stuff (and teaching it back), and for having good time in general. I am easy going, I would modestly describe myself as quite pleasant to be with. I believe there is such a thing as a healthy daily dose of small talk, and I do not believe in awkward silences. As for the « what do you do for a living? » matter, I mostly am a musician and just finished my bachelor in composition. Probably heading towards a master degree of some sort at some point. Haven’t really decided what’s for dinner after that, and try not to worry too much about it. I travelled quite a few times in my life and reached wonderful places, but I have yet to see most of it. I believe what’s most appealing about a place you visit is the people that call it home, and so I love to meet locals wherever i’m at!
My interests are diverse and often go to extremes. I like remote islands and uninhabited forests but also like big cities and large crowds. I like Mahler’s symphonies as well as the sound of my spoon hitting my cup of tea. I like long, heated metaphysical discussions but also enjoy saying « bless you » when someone sneezes. You get the idea. I am a natural curious and I think I somehow never fully got out of childhood.
