Hello world, my name is Gigi. I am originally from Korea. After finishing my BA in Seoul, I left Korea and have lived in several different countries as a student or an English or Korean teacher. Currently I am back on campus again in London studying art theory. I like travelling and having good conversation with people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

So far in my life I have learned quite things from interesting and accidental encounters. It is always joyful to meet people who are different from me and are open-minded to try new things and to share. I probably expect this again through Couchsurfing.

Also I know that meeting nice people and having good time with them make a place remembered as a special one.

Studying something totally new in London, abandoning the secure work. I am not yet knowing how this will help or ruin my future but so far I am positive.

If I have to choose one out of the amazing things in travel experience, it will be the North American Indian tribe Blackfeet pow-wow in Montana, USA.
