ABOUT ME

I am a geologist. Long time ago I wanted to travel in my life, nowadays, my job includes travelling all over the world. When I am on mission but not working I am free to visit the place I am in, so I can visit the surroundings and meet people.

PHILOSOPHY

The world is too beautiful to just stay at home.
A little bit of everything is much better than all of nothing.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I participated in the group of Rio de Janeiro, meeting people, doing activities, being hosted for a while. I could meet lots of people and do nice things in the city thanks to the activity of the Rio group: I could enjoy the city with locals just as a local!

Unfortunately at present I cannot host because I am almost never at home, but when it happens I am ready to show you my city and all the surroundings, a place that usually nobody take into consideration but which has lots to show.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Amazing thing seen. The fluorescence of the plancton in a dark night without moon while bathing in the calm sea of an island in the caribbean.

Amazing thing done. Crossing an alpine pass as the the only car passing during a snow storm deep in the night.

Insegna, impara, condividi

TEACHING. Cook you a good pasta and teach you how to do! Talk in the languages I know. Tell stories I collected in Africa. Talk about Europe for those who would like to go there.

LEARNING. Languages. Understand the place I am visiting also from details you usually never consider such as the architecture of the buildings, the literature of the place, the way of living of the people.

SHARING. I like to share good time with the people, especially I like to spend a common day in the life of the people I know, not necessarily acting as a tourist in the need of collecting monuments and postcards.

I can cook a good pasta and tech you how to do.
If you take outside in the countryside, I can "read" the ladscape for you from a geological point of view.
