About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be inspired by beauty

ABOUT ME

I'm a laidback guy (a big kid at heart) and I subscribe to the Australian 'no worries, mate' philosophy.
I'm in the creative industry and I can't see myself doing anything else - it's what I wanted to do even before I knew such a thing existed!

PHILOSOPHY

I firmly believe in leaving the smallest footprint possible on this planet, and I think every living creature has just as much right to be here as we do.
I love learning and I'm rarely bored because my thirst for knowledge can never be quenched.
The best experiences of my life, hands-down, have been experiencing new sights, smells and sounds with friends and meeting new acquaintances, and I relish the opportunity to do so.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've had foreign visitors (non-CouchSurfers) crash at my house, and it's been a great experience, so I figured why not make it official! I've since had more surfers stay and it's been nothing but positive.

Interests

Visual design & photography, basketball, playing music, cycling, mountain biking, collecting stuff like sneakers, tshirts, posters, and the usual stuff like travelling, enjoying friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm usually into progressive music, but a bit of everything from ambient electronica to drum&bass to acid jazz to technical metalcore.

My top 5 movies according to flickchart are Eternal Sunshine, Inception, The Prestige, Lost In Translation and Transformers (1986). I love subversive, dry comedy shows and will hunt them out!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year I finished a 8-hour, gruelling 100km mountain bike race after partying all the previous night. Not an excellent idea at the time, but I'm glad I persevered!

Countries I’ve Visited

Japan, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
