At the moment I'm studying material science in Erlangen. I chose this subject because I want it to grant me a vision of Nature's forces, that bind the world, all its seeds and sources. (Kudosto you if you get the innuendo ;))
On the weekends (and sometimes on weekdays) I'm jobbing at a bar as a barkeeper. I totally love to work with people and in this setting I can get to know new people every night. You know, late nights make great stories. And I'm the last one going home there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to see and experience new cities and countries. But I don't want to do this the tourist-like and just work down the "you have to see this-list". I want to hear stories by people living there, I want to know how their everyday life looks like and what the differences to mine are. I would totally love if hosts could show me around the city and tell me their own experiences with it.

Interests

I am very enthusiastic about learning new things and trying out new hobbies. I have practised volleyball, tabletennis, tennis, swimming, teakwondo, ju-jutsu, bouldering and powerlifting.
I love getting into new skills/hobbies, going to the subreddit for it and just sucking in all information about e.g. cooking the perfect steak/ sewing own clothes/ whiskey production.

I love watching movies and overanalyzing them and talking about them with friends.
My favourite movies:
Drive: I just love this crazy balance act between superhero-like maincharakter and kind of autistic reactions and total lonelyness and vulnerability.
Running out of time 2: Just one magic moment after another. Unbelievable beautiful movie.

Books:
Same as movies, I love arranging bookmeetings with friends and talk about a book we all read.
ALso my favourites:
Cather in the rye: I don't even know how to describe it in very few words. Great read.
Metro 2033: I love Apocalyptic fatasy settings. Paired with a great portion of russian culture and "easter eggs" this was an absolute banger for me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Participating in a theatre play, accompanied by a choir, dancers and a small orchestra. The whole enseble was around 110 people!! It was awesome, the audience laughed, cried and we even received a standing ovation :))
