Hi Everybody,

I am from the small country miles away of New Zealand and have recently decided to get out and see the world while I am young! I have so far been to a few places in the US, and am living in Vancouver so have seen some local places in British Columbia. I am about to embark on a journey of seeing a few more of the gems that this country has to offer and am heading to Europe in September. I have had a work visa but it will expire in June, so I am trying to figure out how best to afford to see as much as I can and have found this site and am looking into trusted house sitters and workaway type of things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As discussed, I really want to experience what the world has to offer and I love meeting new people and gaining new experiences and teaching things that I am passionate about. I am hoping that this site will allow me the chance to see more cities and meet more locals so that I can further understand the Canadian culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

Gary Clark Jr, Ben Harper and Eminem would be my top 3 artists. I grew up on Blues and the Beatles, got into rap growing up then moved into learning the guitar and enjoying all other types of music. I don't have much dance/techno music on my ipod nor country or metal but other than that I have some foreign music and a lot of genres to mix things up.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Happy to teach guitar if anybody has one lying around or if I have mine with me, happy to share some new tunes including some of the Kiwi gems you may be missing! I am very enthusiastic and positive and hope I can leave you inspired and more positive if possible.
