About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learning as much as I can and forgetting as little as possible

ABOUT ME

Hard thing to do...to know yourself and to be able to share that knowledge with others. I would write many things about myself...but even I cannot guarantee how accurate they are. I think each of us changes with every second passed, with every breath exhaled, with every word spoken, with every tear shed…with every thought that our mind births. Who I was when I started this description will be a little bit different compared to who I will be when I finish it.
From this point of view I am in a perpetual process of self discovery, self destruction and self reconstruction. From a more poetical perspective I see myself as a diver into the depths of my own being, an archeologist digging the ruins of my memory or a sculptor carving my thoughts.
Beyond the metaphysical perspective, during my life I’ve been through a lot of situations like all humans do. I’ve been a crazy child; I’ve been a lifeguard and bartender during high school; I’ve been making lots of friends and few enemies; I’ve been a long term volunteer in a couple of organizations; I’ve read a lot; I’ve been a game tester; I’ve been stupid and I still am; I’ve been part of a political marketing team; I’ve been in love and I’ve been hating after that; I’ve been doing some mistakes and some good things and I don’t know if I learned anything from all of this.

PHILOSOPHY

Dedicating myself to the simple act of existence...just floating on the waves of destiny.
Needless to say that for me a life lived according to a scenario is the worst method of suicide. I believe we as humans are quite limited in understanding the unpredictable. We are all somehow victims of the accidents, of the chances…we cannot control what is surrounding us and that is actually what makes us free. Trying to standardize our lives is useless because fortune is always full of unexpected surprises. I don’t think we should let ourselves float with no direction in the stormy ocean of destiny; I just think we should never anchor our dreams; we should never keep ourselves tied to some fixed ideals.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach: a little bit of history, a little bit of philosophy, very little mythology, how to grow plants, how to swim, how to ride a bike, Romanian language, how to open a beer bottle using available materials and some other things that aren't so useful...
I want to learn (too many things for one life): to cook well, French, local histories, archeology, religion, arts, play drums, new jokes, how to be as free as possible (if there is such a thing), photography, geography, Spanish, snowboarding, archery, climbing, philosophy, survival techniques, how to train a dog, martial arts…
I want to share: smiles and life stories.
