About Me
Hey i'm George,
I love to travel the world and meet new people. Having recently just left the corporate rat race in London, i'm currently undertaking a Tefl course to be able to teach English whilst I travel.
I enjoy trying out new experiences, learning about different cultures, and making friends of all backgrounds around the world.
When i'm travelling I enjoy sightseeing, learning about the history of the country / local area, attending events where I can and of course a good night out.
Interests generally are travel ofcourse, festivals and live music, museums, socialising, pubs and clubs.
I also like to check out the gay scene if there is one in the local area, drag shows are a good laugh!
As a person, i'm pretty laid back and easy to get along with. I've got a good sense of humour and always up for trying something new and stepping outside of my comfort zone.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm Couchsurfing as a way to meet locals and get a real insight into what the place is really like, rather than just through a tourists eyes. I value the connections I make with people and want to make as many friends around the world as possible.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music - I like a bit of everything really, depends on the mood. I do love a bit of cheesy 80's and 90's classics though.
Movies - I like a good horror, they're actually hard to come by!
Books - The only books I read are travel guides.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once took part in a charity hitchhike, whereby we had to get as far away from Bournemouth as we could without spending any money. I managed to make it to Nuremburg in Germany within 24 hours ! Amazing experience.
