About Me
Grew up in San Francisco,
Lived for the past 8 years in Santa Barbara
and now I'm traveling a bit in Europe before heading to stay in China for a while!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Over the past month of traveling I've shifted away from sightseeing and learning history and I've come to really appreciate the personal connections I've made with people in the places I visit.
I feel very fortunate to have often made local friends wherever I've traveled - and it's led to some fantastic adventures and stories. I've heard so many good things about couch surfing and I'm hoping it'll make meeting people easier
(this is my first time trying couch surfing!)
Interests
I'm generally interesting in whatever I don't really know much about ! So it's probably all the things I haven't even thought of.
My background is in programming and radar systems... In my spare time I like to go skiing, reading boring books, cook for friends, go camping for the weekend, trying to - in vain - learn to watercolor and whatever else I come across

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While in Japan I went for a little walk but ended up climbing a volcano for two days barefoot in the middle of a storm. It ended up being one best spontaneous decisions I've made
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm always glad to help people learn and practice their English and I'm always looking to practice my french.
General the spontaneity of a new friendship seems to creates it's own unexpected commonalities and connections
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook pretty well, so I can make lunch or dinner or teach you a new recipe
mmm...
I'm not really sure what else... I guess since I have en engineering background.. something related to that?
