As a kid, I moved around a lot...My father was in the army, and thus he got transferred often to different places, and dragged me along, and i guess, i just got used to traveling :) I explored most of Greece and Cyprus and then left them for the UK to do a PhD in 2013.

Since then I've traveled for business and pleasure to a lot of different countries, including Spain, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Iceland (my favourite!) and Slovakia, but I just can't get enough!

I'm very passionate about photography (take a peek at some of my most recent photos https://www.instagram.com/cynop/ ), and enjoy a good museum, a good gin and tonik and nights that last till the break of dawn :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

With the end of my phd studies in sight, i've decided to travel around europe this summer before deciding my next step. Couchsurfing seems to be the best way to explore new places and meet new people, and all my friends keep telling me it's great so i thought, "why the hell not?"

I would like to make a photographic series with people who host people on couchsurfing. If you would feel ok with participating, please don't be afraid to ask me about it!

Radiohead are a favourite, and watching them live in 2016 was definitely a highlight of the year. Followed by Pink Floyd, Arcade Fire, foo fighthers, bonobo, burial, 65daysofstatic, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, chromatics, Chet Faker, florence + the machine, Queen.

Most of Stephen King's books are favourites. Chuck Palahniuk is great. Egon Schiele is the best painter of the 20th century.

Got lost in a mountain storm and made it to tell the story.

Swam in a glacial lake and didn't froze.

Biked in La Rochelle in the warm french sun.

Drove through the alien landscapes of Iceland.

Saw the sun paint the sky gold in Bristol.
