Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Primarily i'm on Couchsurfing to meet new people. Travel opens up opportunities to meet people from all walks of life, each with their own stories and insights. I believe that companionship is fundamental to happiness, so if Couchsurfing can help me to meet amazing people, and to learn something from them, then i'm in!

Interests

Like most other people on Couchsurfing, travel and meeting new people are big interests of mine. However, I also love sport; particularly soccer, athletics and cycling. Music is a major passion of mine and I love to chill out with a few beers and play some guitar.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read quite a lot; I love to read classic novels, particular 20th century fiction.

In terms of films, i'm not too keen on action movies. I prefer films with excellent dialogue and a compelling storyline. My favourite directors include Kubrick, Wes Anderson, Mike Leigh and Tarantino.

I love music. If I was to list all the genres and artists I love, i'd be here all day. If you like music too, i'm sure we can find some common ground!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2012 I cycled 1000 miles (1600km) unaccompanied from London to Barcelona in 15 days. It was the best experience of my life so far and taught me a lot about myself!
