At heart, I am a blob/old lady, and perfectly happy to spend most days sitting at home watching TV and cooking, baking, complaining about my joints, and telling my friends you're nothing but skin and bones, eat, eat, I made some cake! Don't you like cake? How about some chicken soup? It has lots of vegetables so it's good for you.

But then you look at my interests and it's like, gay bars! Trying foods in places all over the world! Nerding out to board games and anime! These are the things that get me out of the house, and when I'm travelling I try to taste all the delights wherever I am. With any luck I can meet some people to try things with, and with some of that luck I can hopefully help other find cool things to do, too.

My visited countries looks pretty ridiculous, and that's a result of classical music training and performance, a few academic/work positions, and dating someone in the airline industry for 8 years.

Books: Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman are authors that I can't seem to stop re-reading. I should also get to reading more Haruki Murakami since I've devoured everything of his that I've read so far.
