Overview
About Me
Originally from US, then Canada, now Israel.
Love traveling, meeting people, hearing and sharing stories.
Fun fact: I live on a fully socialist urban kibbutz!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
New to CS - I want to meet people and experience new places and cultures hands on, not just as a tourist.
I grew up in the States, in a US-centric bubble. After moving to Israel in 2011, I realized that what's interesting about new places is the differences people hold in their lived experiences, in the perspective on the world. That's what I seek to encounter when traveling.

Graduated from Stanford with distinction - and then got my truck driving license :)
I can navigate around Vienna without a phone - but I've only spent 4 days there in my life
Teach, Learn, Share
I am more than happy to teach about the incredibly complicated politics of Israel.
I know more about Vienna and the Austro-Hungarian Empire than is healthy for someone who's never lived there.
I know a ton about the history of the Holocaust as well.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Interesting stories from the Middle East, historic knowledge described above.
