About Me

I have grown up in Cambridge, UK most of my life but have been lucky enough to see a lot of the world. Problem is when you start exploring it is really REALLY difficult to stop!

I enjoy sunny days (being from the UK we don’t get many!!!), nice views, a bit of an adventure and when it’s topped with a laugh, nice people and a few beers then that’s perfect for me.

Pretty much up for anything especially trying local delicacies and seeing local sites / music.

I’m pretty laid back and easy going and generally don’t like to take life too seriously! Spontaneity is the best thing about travelling so like to live my life accordingly :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm about to start a solo trip to New Zealand, South America and hopefully Japan! I've been before but when I was alot younger and have never backpacked them, so looking for advice friends and especially in Japan maybe a couch to surf!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I like everything from country music to drum and bass. My favourite genre would have to be old school american hip-hop . Jurassic 5 are my favourite

Movies: Any Quentin Tarantino: Django Unchained

Books: A very obscure book called 'mortal engines', post-apocalyptic society where cities are giant vehicles and they go around eating the smaller cities to keep going! anything fantasy or sci-fi

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived with buddhist monks for a week when I was 15! Was an amazing experience but I never want to look at Tofu again!

Teach, Learn, Share

Language exchange, I have always been interested in global politics and peoples viewpoints from different walks of life so love to learn about this, I love talking about space ventures and science as well as general advances in technology and ways in which we are trying to fix the planet.

Then again we can always just share a beer!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will happily cook a meal for hosts, buy some drinks or whatever I have to offer!
