About Me

Just finished my Bachelor's degree in London. I'm an open minded, fun loving person, and love spending time both with my friends and family. One of my biggest passions is learning new languages and and exploring different cultures through travel and meeting people.

I've lived and travelled in a lot of different countries and aim to continue doing so for as long as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of the greatest joys of travelling has always been the people I've met along the way. Learning from different people has broadened my mind and expanded my entire outlook on life. I'd love nothing more than to keep meeting fellow travellers, share stories and tips, and more importantly, experiences. I find nothing more inspirational.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Jazz, Blues, Rock, Country, Folk, and the list goes on. More than listening to music, I enjoy playing. The guitar, ukulele, and a bit of mandolin, anything I can pick really. I've also recently been trying to learn the didgeridoo, though my partner is not what you'd call a fan of me practicing at home!

Books: I love to read widely across different genres, and in as many languages as possible. I'm currently reading Operación masacre by Rodolfo Walsh, and revisiting The Lord of the Rings for the first time since I was a kid.

Films: I enjoy Star Wars just as much as experimental indie films. Will watch anything Christopher Nolan or the Coen brothers put out. Iñárritu's Amores perros is one of my favourite films.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A five day trek ending in Machu Picchu. Arriving there at 5am is to date one of the more breathtaking sights I've ever had.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love hearing people's travel stories about the places they've been to, tips they might have, and of course sharing my own. I speak several languages and would happily teach or practice any of them with you. Also, book recommendations, I have loads, and would greatly appreciate some in return too!

What I Can Share with Hosts

A calm presence and good company. I would love to play music with you if that's your thing. I'm also not a half bad cook and would be happy to prepare something vegetarian/vegan for you. Additionally, I almost always travel with mate (the herbal drink), so if you know it well, or are interested in trying it, we'll drink one together.
