About Me

CURRENT MISSION:
Meet new folk!

ABOUT ME:
My friends would probably say that I am: easy-going, sporty, chatty, trustworthy, a good listener, inquisitive, and fun!

I am 5'11, mid-twenties, and willing to try almost anything. Be that an extreme sport or just meeting someone new over a beer. Open to all opportunities that I can treasure for the rest of my life.

PHILOSOPHY:
My personal philosophy (funny, I studied Philosophy at uni!) is, first and foremost, to have fun. The easiest way to do this is by being open-minded and welcoming of all new people, things and experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING:
I have couchsurfed a lot myself, and because of that I'm enthusiastic about hosting too. I'm just in shared accommodation at university now so no-can-do.
I'll eagerly throw myself into anything, especially with others involved.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE:
I couchsurfed for the first time in Australia and thoroughly enjoying it. Judging by experience, I prefer it to youth hostels. The people and activities are just... much more fun!

Interests

I'll add again that I am totally set on seeing as much of life as possible. I am a huge fan of sports including rugby, cricket, tennis, skiing, slacklining, golf, Aussie Rules footie. Name it and I'll play it! Other than sports, I read Philosophy at uni so if you have any big issues you wanna chat about, fire away. I love the usual of films, friends and everything in between. I've normally got a book on the go. Oh, and I love almost every genre of music too. Mozart to Frank Sinatra to Elvis to Slipknot to Ben Howard to Skrillex. Just try me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love cinema, but top favourite genres in film have to comedy, action, psychological thrillers and horror.
I'm open to any books really, would love some suggestions.
I adore music, I need a theme tune to my life always, I'm a sucker for all types of guitar-based music: metal, rock, jazz, blues, folk. I have a soft-spot for drum n bass or house music though so I party hard!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived my life as an adventure! Travelled Australia, Hong Kong, most of Europe, every UK country, big US cities (NY, LA, Vegas) and Vancouver. The things I've done in those countries were either too plentiful to list, or too awesome to mention in case you get jealous :P

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to think I have plenty to teach everyone - I even teach my own father how to play cricket. I love to chat and discuss stuff and everyone has their own perspective so can't wait to share ideas.
The best thing about CouchSurfing is the ability to learn from experiences and people alike, so come teach me something when you stay please!
Sharing-wise, I'll share you a beer. If you're nice.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories, life advice, philosophical musings, music, and a barrel of laughs. Hopefully a friendship at the end of it!
