COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had great couchsurfing experiences in
-Chicago at a hostel for musicians
-Walhonding, OH with the nicest couple who teach art and grow their own food and live with their young daughter in Amish farm country
-Columbus, OH with a really interesting couple who'd met teaching in Korea and had traveled throughout southeast Asia
-Westerville, OH staying with the most wonderful professor, learning about haiku and talking about music!
-At Kenyon College in Ohio with the Environmental House students!
-South Carolina eating blue crab and playing ukelele!
-A party in Charleston with a banana tree in the backyard and a artist co-op downstairs!
-Playing guitar by the kumquat tree in Savannah!
-Staying in a backyard of a Navy Seal in Georgia with my friends in tents, had a bonfire!
-Making Sunday Night dinner in Key Largo!
-Stayed in Tallahassee with Steve, went and purchased him a road bicycle, got crepes w/, went to the artsy neighborhood, played chess with friends, had bonfire!
-Stayed in Blountstown in Blair's backyard (super nice guy!)
-Hanged out in Mobile for three nights while it poured rain with our awesome hosts, saw live music, made cookies, played trivia, got coffee
-Surfed in New Orleans with Mark
-Bozeman with Becca and all her awesome roommates/friends, made salmon burritos!
-Stayed in Missoula with Ben, saw Railroad Earth, went to Tammarack Brewery with him and friends, had a great time!
-volunteered at bike coop, bought road bike, went to rooftop party in Chicago, made guacamole and shot pool, rode bike back to volunteer housing in Indiana
-Stayed in Portland, had bonfire, had some tasty coffee and biscuits, assembled bikes, went and played frisbee with friends and strangers.
