我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

My profile might be old but I've never really had the chance to get involved into Couchsurfing. So I am fairly new to this.
I decided to explore this platform for a simple yet important reason: When I am travelling I want to explore a place as a local. I avoid tourist traps, overcrowded attractions and busy places.
So the best way to do that is to actually meet locals, socialize with them, discuss about their best places in the city and hidden gems.
