My wife and I are currently traveling South America for 6 months and afterwards we plan to go to southeast Asia for another 6 months.

After completing my studies a friend and I cycled 1500km through rural South Africa in 11 days, only taking along the bare essentials and relying on strangers' hospitality and generosity along the way.
