Hello!

I'm George (she/her). Logging back on here for the first time in many years! I'm a 34yo from Melbourne, Australia, though I currently live in a tiny rural area on a farm with my partner.

I love meeting people, especially those with shared interests and passions. I love adventure and adrenaline, and I'm passionate about psychology, social justice, and my various creative outlets. I play music and at the moment am sinking my teeth into learning the art of surf photography.

I have zero tolerance for bigotry BS and like to stay with individuals of a similar mindset :)

I ride a motorbike too - so any classic motorcycle enthusiasts out there - hit me up. I ride a Yamaha SR400 named Juliet.

My favourite thing about travelling is the people you meet. I enjoy going to small local pubs, bars, cafes and gigs, and detest all that is traditionally "touristy". TAKE ME TO YOUR HIDDEN GEMS!!!

Ideal travel to me is finding small rural towns, exploring the countryside, and underground scenes in big cities. And of course, living like a local.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed my way around Europe and America and it was the greatest decision I have ever made. I had the craziest experiences and met the most incredible people.

I've also hosted several people in my little Melbourne house, which was just as an amazing experience.

I had quite a long break without travel (covid, etc) and now I''m back on the horse, logging into this account for the first time in a while! It's been nice to reminisce on the experiences and beautiful people I met in my 20s.

Interests

Surfing, swimming, snorkelling, anything to do with the water! Camping, live music, psychology, local pubs, smalls bars and eateries, cooking, photography.

I amazed myself by finishing my psych degrees (I can be shit at seeing things through so this was truly a feat).
