About Me

CURRENT MISSION Exploring my new home town of Bristol!

ABOUT ME Graduated from Exeter university in 2015. Got a graduate job for a year and a half, but decided it wasn't for me so I went for a big change and am now an officer in the Royal Navy training to fly helicopters! I love keeping active; wake boarding, climbing, cycling, paragliding and jumping at opportunities to take part in pretty much any other outdoor activities. My latest adventure was touring Europe for 2 on motorcycles with a friend and paragliding in the Bavarian Alps

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've used couch surfing sporadically over the years and it's always proved a brilliant way to support my travels: I like it not only for the how astonishing it always is when a stranger takes you into their home, but what a fantastic locals perspective you can get of whatever area you happen to be passing through. Previous experiences have been from bicycle trips through France and as well as a couple of motorcycle trips around Europe where couch surfing was a very welcome break from camping in the rain!

Music, Movies, and Books

Will listen to most things... but 80's classics are a guilty pleasure!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitch hiked from Exeter, in the South West of England, all the way to Amsterdam in the Netherlands over the course of 2 whirlwind days.
This was in the aid of a charity, but I had a cracking time in the process and met lots of interesting characters along the way.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook you up a tasty dinner, get a round in at the local pub and hopefully also engage you in some interesting conversations learning about where we’ve been, what we’ve done and things that we’re interested in. I love getting to know the people I stay with as much as possible, but can also be a very unobtrusive guest and keep myself to myself if necessary!

Countries I’ve Visited

Andorra, Belgium, Cambodia, Croatia, England, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Laos, Malaysia, Netherlands, Poland, Scotland, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Viet Nam, Wales

Countries I’ve Lived In

England, Netherlands
