I'm a young aspiring photographer and videographer, like many others, I practice all forms of photography and respect all areas of the arts. I am an avid music listener and love discovering new music from all over the world. I attend lots of festivals in the summer, I love seeing people outside of their normal lives. Back in England I study TV & Radio at the University of Salford, but I have been in Chicago for the last few months studying Cinema Arts + Science at Columbia College.
I'm a polite, respectful young man and I believe that being nice is the best thing a person can be. I hope to make as many friends as possible in life and I believe travelling is the best way to do so!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have just finished studying at Columbia College Chicago for the spring semester and now I want to travel the west coast, starting in San Diego on the 18th of May. I'm planning on travelling by hitchhiking or rideshares as much as possible, with some busses if need be. I'm looking to stay with as many hosts as I can to meet new people and gain more of a feel for local living :)

Filmywilmies: I have a tattoo of Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange on my arm but it's not my favourite, though I love Kubrick's work; American Beauty, Amelie, La Haine, Headhunters, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo trilogy, Magnolia, The Master(most PTA), Old Boy(Korean), Battle Royale... this list could go on but let's save that for another time. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled alone in Australia for 3 months at the age of 18/19, I met many new people and formed lifetime friendships. During this time I also spent the best part of a month travelling solo in a car discovering beautiful national parks and practicing my photography.

I love to learn anything I don't know, if you're into history tell me something that happened long ago in a galaxy relatively close to home.
