About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Curious by nature, I just *have* to explore: countries, people, and most of all: ideas.
ABOUT ME
I don't do clubbing. I just don't get what's so important about the dj only getting started at 2 am. Damn, am I getting old or is everyone else getting young?
So all about me? We'd need lots and lots of space to fit my life's story in this.
Let's just say that I'm a jack of all trades, having had more than 20 jobs (some for years, some for hours).
Some were boring. Some were not. But the point is finding the good parts in everything you do, be it the people you work with, the money you make (and get to spend afterwards), or the liberty of not being tied down to a "nine to five" job, when you spend your days partying all night.
A friend of mine who knows me very little got it right when he said that I'm the type of person that gets bored easily. That's true; I crave for excitement.
PHILOSOPHY
"Everything changes."
(so does my philosophy, over the years)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Does a free glass of rose wine to all couchsurfers count? It's the house special and no matter how much we drink, we never seem to run out of the stuff! :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Got my fair share of couchsurfing when I was a student. For a U2 concert, to catch an early flight out of Heathrow, or just to keep company to a friend in need.
As for the couch as furniture, it's contributed a lot to my sex life. The first time with my first girlfriend was on a couch with my parents sleeping in the next room.
Other than that, I prefer beds, when they are available.
Interests
I used to like dancing the salsa, but after an accident that gave me a bad knee, I can barely get myself to listen to it.
I like to write (shorts mostly), but unlike other writers, I don't read much. I prefer to get my inspirations from personal experience.
Other than that, I love exploring, debating (I'm told I'm good that, even though I have the memory of a goldfish) and surfing.

Music, Movies, and Books
The Butterfly Effect (the movie) touched me on a very basic level.
Other than that, I enjoy mainstream music and the last couple of years I'm into books of Popular Economics. Geeky, I know, but I can't help myself.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Uhm let's see. In no particular order: swimming with dolphins, snorkeling in the Maldives, and I asked my favorite actress to marry me (I'm still waiting).
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a trivia buff, but I suck in History and Geography.
So, if you're looking about inside information as to who it was that poisoned Socrates with the hemlock, or what ancient site is where, you're out of luck.
On other hand, if you're into science, I can suggest a couple of sites in human anatomy that you can explore in your own time.
Countries I’ve Visited
France, Italy, Maldives, Romania, Spain, United Arab Emirates
