ABOUT ME

I have always had a heightened propensity for moving so this website is the perfect medium for meeting locals while traveling. The last year has consisted of working seasonal jobs in an effort to save money for a more extended adventure. So in November I am going to cycle from California to Brazil to catch the 2014 World Cup.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far most of my participating has been on the hosting end. There was steady traffic coming through Corvallis while at school and I have had the chance to meet plenty of unique people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Of the people that have stayed with me and my roommates everybody has been open minded and willing to contribute whatever they can. I have met copious interesting individuals and befriended the ones that have stayed in town.

Interests

Soccer, skiing, hiking, reading, the rain, the sun, disc golf, growing vegetables, baking bread, running, Vonnegut, llamas, road trips, new places, making people laugh, camping, dancing, beer, cycling and curiosity.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When Siem Reap flooded at the height of the rainy season last summer I saw three guys paddling around town in an empty refrigerator.
