About Me
Describing yourself is always a hard task, so I'll just briefly tell you something about my life and plans. After growing up in the centre of Hamburg, I studied Medicine in Lübeck, Budapest and Windhoek. Especially the last years of my studies were a time of intensive travelling. During my time in Budapest I learned a lot about the central and eastern European countries and people. While living in Namibia I tried to see as much as possible of southern Africa. Back in Germany I graduated in 2014 and started working as a medical doctor some month after. Obviously, since then my schedule is not as flexible as it was at university, but I try to use as much of my free time for travelling as possible. In the mean time I enjoy climbing, cycling, coffee, a good book and a lively discussion. I live in a flat share and hope my flatmates can witness that most of the time I'm an easy going person.
This year, my good friend Christian from Hamburg is hiking the Appalachian Trail and my plan is to join him for some weeks in support of his great project.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
While living in Budapest I hosted quiet a lot and surfed on my biketrip back to Germany. I always found it to be the best way to get a insight into other travellers mindset and culture. Some of the most interesting people I met during the last years I got to know through couchsurfing.
