Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting new, random people and I think it's nice to help each other out when travelling.

Random fact: it reminds me of old Bulgarian stories where kind people would host a stranger, often the protagonist, give them food and help them get where they need to go. Also reminds me a bit of my village because it's small and everyone knows everyone. Sometimes as a child, I would be coming back from a whole day's hike with my friends, and we wouldn't be afraid to just knock any random door and ask for food or water. Old people were always happy to see us, eager to help, and always asked whose children we were.
