Overview
About Me
I grew up in a small mountain town in Colorado, and was raised with an appreciation of the arts. I am currently studying environmental studies and the arts with concentrations in sustainable agriculture and painting. At Warren Wilson College, one of the few work colleges in the United States, I work on a 300 acre farm with cattle, swine, poultry, and sheep. One day, I will own a farm with my family.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am studying Spanish in Peubla, Mexico with a study abroad program through my school. Once the program is over, I will travel through neighboring states for two more weeks. I do not have much money, as I am an unemployed college student, and I want to meat people and make connections as I travel.
Interests
I enjoy singing, playing sports, tending the land, drawing, painting, cooking, and more.

Music, Movies, and Books
The one movie that I can watch over and over again is "Triplets de Belleville." It is a animation film with little words, yet so many messages. I don't spend much time watching TV, and I love reading books about plants and political theory books. Wendell Berry wrote some of my greatest inspirations.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have pulled a calf out of its mother. When she did not accept her child, I carried the 70 pound infant for at least 100 yards across a snow covered field. Then, I witnessed as they bonded.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to teach whatever I can. I want to learn what I can teach, and whatever is thrown my way. I want to share an appreciation of life by simply enjoying places with others.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share laughter, smiles, jokes, and honesty. I can share drawings, painting, and songs. I can share cooking, adventuring, and joy.
