Hi there,
I am a swimmer at New Mexico State University, majoring in Agronomy/Soil Science. I love hands on work, and lots of activity. I hike/backpack every available weekend, which is most weekends, and I hike and explore the local beauty of Las Cruces and southern New Mexico daily. I am I highly positive thinker, and go-getter. I love animals (I am also vegan), and I love plants most of all. I do not cook with oils and mostly eat whole foods. Will gladly bring my own produce. I have a very high respect for myself and others.
I also have a beautiful 3-year-old Doberman, Koa, he is my pride and joy. I have only had him for about a year, and he is very protective yet loving and very kind. He is house trained and very well behaved, although not great with other dogs at first. He loves the outdoors and I take him on a hike or a bike ride everyday. (He does not have to come with me.)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Mostly for swim meets. Like I said I am a colligate swimmer and in the off-season our coach makes us attend meets away from our homes. I am a poor college student who cannot always afford a hotel for 3 nights in a row in some of the biggest cities in the U.S. I’ve tried just sleeping in a tent, but that doesn’t always help my performance for swimming, and my coach did not find it humorous.
