About Me
Hi! I love to travel and look to meet up with locals who can give me a flavour of the local culture and cuisine. My biggest regret is that my sofa at home is not large enough to let me be a CS host!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have travelled to over 30 countries in my life and I think it is much better to experience a place through the eyes of a local and get a better understanding of a country this way. Since joining I've couchsurfed a few times in Macedonia, Albania, Ireland and Russia and have had really great hosts for each who have taught me a lot about their culture. Now that I've entered the couchsurfing world I'm never looking back!
Interests
Any sports (especially swimming and hiking), learning languages, knitting (I am old before my time) and pub quizzes. I am currently trying to master how to whistle really loudly!
