I have been bit by the traveling bug, and it will never stop itching. I absolutely love getting to know new places around the world and making new friends along the way.
I just finished grad school and am now a certified Occupational Therapist. I love to get to know and help people in whatever way I can. I enjoy cooking and learning new recipes, and sharing what I have made with others. You could say I'm very easy to please, I enjoy both staying in and going out on the town. I LOVE to dance. Rollerblading is my choice of exercise. I played Ultimate Frisbee all of college and am always down to toss.
My summer job for the past 6 summers has been to drive an ice cream truck, music and all. Yes, the music does get VERY annoying but seeing the smiles on the kids faces made it worth it. I was once chased by a crew of about 13 kids on their skateboards, bikes, and feet. Looking into my rearview mirror and seeing that image was priceless.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have couchsurfed a few times as a tag along to my friends who have accounts, and had absolutely amazing experiences. The generosity that this site brings out in people is heartwarming. I believe that people are inherently good and this site proves that. I'm here to meet new people and swap stories/recipes/helpful hints about traveling/save people money... If you have a place to stay, there are more opportunities to spend money on fun things!

Interests

Traveling (duh), cooking, rollerblading, dancing, ultimate frisbee, drawing (or any art project/craft really), hiking, biking, seeing live music, going out for drinks (I went to school in Wisconsin so I'm pretty good at drinking cheap beer), bowling, tennis, going for walks, getting lost, painting faces, laughing, and spending time with friends. Not going to lie- I have been sucked into the ease of the Netflix life, so I haven't been reading much recently, but starting to get back into it. I really enjoy Bill Bryson as an author. The girl with the dragon tattoo series was stellar.
