I am living in Plasencia, Spain working as a language assistant in a highschool, teaching English, I would love to travel around Spain, meet people and practice Spanish.

I backpacked across Europe for 9 months pre-covid - visitng 11 countries, including working in Austria for 3 months and volunteering in Romania for 6 weeks. I stayed with couchsurfers a few times during this trip and loved it!! I will never forget my couchsurfing experience in the Dolomites, where I got to share my life experiences with others, and learn more about Italian food, culture and hiking.

My passions include sports (I play hockey, football and love athletics) and outdoor activities. I love hiking, kyaking, rock climbing and mountain biking. I'm keen to try these activities across the world! I just love being outdoors, meeting new people, learning things, and having a good time.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I think that the people that know cities the best are the locals. I would love to stay with people and see their favourite spots across their cities/towns. I want to experience the culture and fun that comes with staying with hosts, and couchsurfing is the best way to do that. Super excited to do touristy things with hosts, but also see the hidden gems of their cities! Most of all, I'm just keen to meet people!

Tv Shows: All versions of Ru Paul's Drag Race (the UK version is clearly the best though). Also I love the spin off series.

Books: The main type of book that I like are autobiographies. I love to read about how people have lived their life, to learn about others and try to learn from what they have done. Also I absolutely love Harry Potter, and right now I'm listening to the audiobooks in Spanish.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I worked in Austria for 3 months at a ski lodge before the pandemic! I worked as a chalet host, cleaning, cooking and serving guests. I absolutely loved it. I was lucky enough to ski 3-4 times every week. So it was a dream come true.
