My favorite thing about traveling is making friends around the world. I’d much rather meet cool, local, generous people than pay a bunch of money to be alone in some fancy hotel room. (Getting by on the kindness of strangers is kinda how I’ve always rolled while traveling)

I’m a huge fan of Americana and folk music. I love queer films and almost exclusively read nonfiction (that’s what a journalism degree will do to you).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Free climbed the second flatiron (Boulder, CO). Most Colorado climbers have done it and a lot would say it’s no big deal but for me it was absolutely terrifying and also a bit of a dream come true. It was one of the last things I did before I left my college town and while I’m not sure I’d do it again, I am so grateful I had the opportunity.
