Born and raised in Western Australia. I recently returned home after travelling North America (mainly hanging out in Banff (Alberta) and Barrie (Ontario) for 11ish months). I spent a total of about three months hopping around the US as well.

I'm a creative type I guess, I love to write, watch movies and plays.

Singing and the beach are two of my favourite things in the entire world.

I love the outdoors and I know my way around a boat.

I'm looking to find accommodation with locals in the places I'm visiting. I want to get to know the places I'm visiting from a local's perspective and absorb as much culture as I can.

I'm home now and I'd like to pay it forward by showing some people around Perth!

I'm about to move to Edinburgh, Scotland. So if anyone has any recommendations about that I'd love to hear them. I'm flying by the seat of my pants.

Stuff I can sing along to. One of my favourite movies of all time is The Sound of Music, I did a film degree though so I've got about a million favourites. I love books that make me see the world in a different way and ones that make me laugh out loud.

There was this time when I was on the boat with Dad, heading to Rotto (Rottnest Island) when I saw a turtle. First and only turtle I've seen there and I grew up spending a minimum of a month every year in summer living on the boat at Rotto, seeing all kinds of sea creatures, but only the one turtle.

I found a tiny frog once and held it in my palm.

Surfing in Hawaii and snowboarding in Banff are up there too I guess.

My sense of humour, thorough knowledge of Australian travel destinations as well as some of the international destinations I've visited. Probably not food...I'm working on my cooking skills, always more than happy to eat food though.
